Male Eyelid Surgery

Changes in eyelid or eyebrow shape and contour occur equally in both men and women; the goals of surgery, however, are different. The upper eyelid crease (or fold of skin along the open upper eyelid) often sits closer to the eyelid margin in men than it does in women. The eyebrows, too, sit lower on the forehead in males than in females. Dr. Hamill addresses each of these issues and the gender-specific aging changes that accompany them.
